Helsing, a leading European defence technology company, and ARX Robotics, Europe’s leading provider of unmanned, software-defined ground systems, have announced a strategic partnership to jointly develop an AI-enabled reconnaissance and effect network for European defence.
The aim of the cooperation is to digitalize and connect the currently fragmented and largely analogue land domain, empowering armed forces to act faster, more precisely, and at longer ranges than today. Both companies draw on combat-proven systems and experiences from the war in Ukraine, where networked land technologies are already decisive.
The partnership is pan-European in scope, including joint projects in the UK, Germany, and Ukraine.
Gundbert Scherf, Co-CEO of Helsing, emphasized:
“ARX is at the forefront of unmanned ground systems. By strengthening the land domain together, we are delivering on Helsing’s promise: to protect European democracies through technological advantage.”
Marc Wietfeld, CEO of ARX Robotics, added:
“With Helsing, we have found the best-in-class partner to drive technological leaps in the European defence sector. Together we will work in the UK, Ukraine, and Germany to provide European and Ukrainian forces with a decisive technological edge.”
