Embraer Concludes the Year with Major A-29 Super Tucano Sales

At the close of 2024, Embraer solidified its leadership in light attack and advanced trainer aircraft with two significant sales milestones for the A-29 Super Tucano:

🔹 December 30, 2024 – A firm order for six A-29 Super Tucanos was placed by an undisclosed customer. These versatile aircraft, scheduled for delivery in 2026, will support a wide range of missions, including battlefield air interdiction, close air support, maritime patrol, and territorial defense operations.

🔹 December 31, 2024 – Another contract was signed for four A-29 Super Tucanos with a new African customer, marking the sixth operator of this aircraft on the continent. These aircraft will perform missions such as ISR, counterinsurgency, border surveillance, and advanced flight training.

The A-29 Super Tucano has now exceeded 290 orders and 570,000 flight hours, demonstrating its unmatched reliability and capability. 2024 saw additional sales to Portugal, Uruguay, and Paraguay, further solidifying its global presence.
